Air-Fried Roasted Salsa balances smoky charred tomatoes and jalapeño with bright lime and fresh cilantro for a lively, well-rounded bite. The texture is lightly chunky with a toasty depth from air-fried garlic and onion, making it great for tortilla chips or spooned over tacos. Serve it at game day gatherings, casual cookouts, or anytime you want a fresh, roasted kick.

Air-Fried Roasted Salsa
  1. 1

Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C).

  2. 2

Place the tomatoes and jalapeno skin-side down in the air fryer basket with the red onion. Lightly mist the vegetables with cooking spray to aid roasting.

  3. 3

Air fry the vegetables for 5 minutes. Open the basket and add the garlic cloves. Spray lightly with cooking spray and air fry for another 5 minutes.

  4. 4

Move the vegetables to a cutting board and let them cool for 10 minutes.

  5. 5

Remove the skins from the tomatoes and jalapeno, if you like; they should slide off easily. Roughly chop the tomatoes, jalapeno, and onion and place them in a food processor bowl. Add the garlic, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Pulse several times until finely chopped; do not overprocess. Serve at room temperature or refrigerate to allow the flavors to meld.
