Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning now and then, until evenly browned, 6 to 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice. On 2 bread slices (mayonnaise sides), divide and layer the chicken, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, and bacon in that order. Place the remaining 2 bread slices on top, mayonnaise-sides-down.

Preheat a panini press over medium-high heat as directed by the manufacturer and coat it with cooking spray. Place the sandwiches inside and cook until heated through and the cheese begins to melt, 5 to 7 minutes.
