Cabbage Steaks

    Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

    Cut the bottom off the cabbage and place it flat-side down on the cutting board; slice into 1-inch thick pieces. Arrange the slices in a single layer on a large sheet pan or in a casserole dish.

    Drizzle oil over the cabbage slices and sprinkle with the garlic. Season the cabbage with salt and pepper. Cover the pan or dish with aluminum foil.

    Bake in the preheated oven until the cabbage core is easily pierced with a fork, about 45 minutes.
