    Preheat the waffle maker.

    Pour 1/2 of the batter onto the preheated waffle maker and use a spoon to spread it from the center. Close the waffle maker and cook until the steam stops and the chaffle is well browned, about 3 minutes. Do not overcook, as it will become chewy. Repeat with the remaining batter.
