Chopped Grinder Sliders

Appetizer 🧄Dinner 🍽️Lunch 🥪Snack 🍿 Italian 🇮🇹American

Chopped Grinder Sliders pack the flavors of an Italian sub into pull-apart Hawaiian rolls brushed with garlicky butter and toasted for a light crunch. The filling blends ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, crisp romaine, tomato, red onion, and tangy banana peppers with a zesty mayo dressing. Great for game day, potlucks, or an easy weeknight crowd-pleaser.

Chopped Grinder Sliders
  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Slice the attached rolls in half horizontally without separating them.

  2. 2

Place the butter and garlic in a microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup and microwave until melted, 30 to 45 seconds. Brush the garlic butter over the tops of the rolls and the cut side of the bottom half of the rolls, then set them on a baking sheet, buttered side up.

  3. 3

Bake in the preheated oven until lightly toasted, 6 to 7 minutes.

  4. 4

Meanwhile, place the ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and banana peppers on a cutting board. Chop them together until well combined. Add the banana pepper brine, olive oil, wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and mayonnaise, then chop and mix until everything is well coated.

  5. 5

Spread the mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls and set the top half of the rolls on top. Cut into 12 slider sandwiches.
