    Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and ham; cook and stir until the onion is tender and the ham starts to brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.

    Whisk the eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper together in a large bowl.

    Spread the corned beef hash in the pie crust, pressing it down firmly with the back of a spoon. Spoon the onion and ham mixture over the top. Pour in the egg mixture until filled, taking care not to overfill. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Set the quiche on a baking sheet.

    Bake in the preheated oven until the crust is golden brown and the center is set, 25 to 30 minutes. Let it stand for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
