Dark Chocolate Cake II

Dessert 🍰 American

Dark Chocolate Cake II delivers a deeply cocoa-forward bite with a hint of coffee that heightens the chocolate flavor and keeps the crumb tender and moist. Mixed in a single bowl and baked in a 9x13 pan, it’s ideal for weeknights or celebrations and takes beautifully to any frosting, ganache, or simple dusting of sugar.

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch pan.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Make a well in the center and add the eggs, coffee, milk, oil, and vinegar. Stir until smooth; the batter will be thin. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

  3. 3

Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool.
