    Gather all the ingredients.

    In a large resealable plastic bag, mix the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion salt; set aside.

    Cut the venison into long strips, 1 inch wide and 1/8 inch thick. Add the strips to the marinade and seal the bag. Refrigerate for 8 hours to overnight, kneading occasionally to spread the marinade evenly.

    Preheat the oven to 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Put a pan or aluminum foil on the oven floor to catch drips. Take the venison out of the marinade and shake off any excess.

    Lay the venison on a wire rack in a single layer and dehydrate in the preheated oven until it reaches your preferred texture, 6 to 8 hours.
