Quick Pan-Fried Falafel Patties
  1. 1

Add garbanzo beans, 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs, the onion, 1/4 cup olive oil, the egg, parsley, curry powder, garlic powder, lemon juice, and black pepper to a food processor or blender. Process until coarse crumbles form. If the mixture is too moist, blend in more panko crumbs.

  2. 2

Roll the mixture into balls about the size of a golf ball; place them on a plate.

  3. 3

Flatten the balls into patties and coat them in panko bread crumbs.

  4. 4

Heat about 1 inch of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  5. 5

Pan-fry the patties until crispy, about 3 minutes on each side.
