    In a large skillet, brown the beef in oil over medium-high heat. When the meat is browned, drain the excess fat from the skillet. Add the garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and stir to combine.

    Add the bouillon, onion, and mushrooms to the skillet and cook, stirring, until the onions are translucent. Remove from the heat (very important) and add the sour cream. Stir everything together and serve over hot cooked egg noodles.
