    Combine flour, salt, paprika, sage, and pepper in a resealable plastic bag. Add the chicken parts, seal the bag, and shake until they are well coated.

    Melt the butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish in the preheated oven. Place the coated chicken pieces in the baking dish skin-side down and bake for 20 minutes.

    Flip the chicken pieces and bake until the bone is no longer pink and the juices run clear, about 20 minutes more. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should register 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
