    Set the pork shoulder in the slow cooker. Pour vinegar over the pork to coat all sides; season with salt and pepper.

    Cook on Low for 10 to 12 hours.

    Move the pork to a platter. Drain and discard the juices from the slow cooker. Chop the pork and put it back in the slow cooker.

    Stir in the barbeque sauce and cook for 30 minutes more.
