    In a large bowl, combine the water, yeast, and salt; let it sit until the mixture turns foamy, about 10 minutes.

    Stir the flour into the yeast mixture until fully combined. The dough will be shaggy and appear wet. Loosely cover the bowl with a damp towel and leave it in a warm spot, about 5 hours.

    With damp hands, shape the dough into 2 loaves. Set the loaves on a cornmeal-dusted work surface and score the tops several times with a sharp knife. Move the loaves to a baking sheet and let them rest until they double in size, 30 to 60 minutes.

    Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

    Bake in the preheated oven, misting the surface of the dough with water from time to time, until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
