Low-Fat Eggless Oatmeal Cookies

Dessert 🍰Snack 🍿 American Vegetarian 🥦

Low-Fat Eggless Oatmeal Cookies bake up tender and chewy, with applesauce lending moisture and a gentle sweetness in place of eggs and butter. Warm cinnamon pairs with plump raisins and crunchy walnuts for a balanced bite that feels cozy yet light. Serve these as an afternoon snack, a lunchbox treat, or a lighter dessert that still satisfies a cookie craving.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease the cookie sheets.

  2. 2

Stir the applesauce, brown sugar, and white sugar together in a bowl. Sift the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon into a separate bowl; stir this into the applesauce mixture. Add the rolled oats, raisins, and chopped nuts, if desired. Stir until combined. Drop spoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto the prepared baking sheets.

  3. 3

Bake in the preheated oven until the edges are golden, about 10 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool slightly before removing them from the baking sheet.
