    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

    Trim any excess fat from the leg quarters. Pat the leg quarters dry and brush them all over with about half of the olive oil. Generously sprinkle Everything Bagel Seasoning on both sides.

    Heat the remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat and brown the chicken skin-side down until golden, 4 to 6 minutes. Flip the chicken and brown the other side for 2 minutes more.

    Turn off the heat and carefully pour the beer around the chicken legs along the sides of the skillet, avoiding the crispy skin. Add the loosely crushed garlic cloves and drizzle the seasoning sauce into the pan. Place knobs of butter on the chicken and transfer the skillet to the oven.

    Roast in the preheated oven until the chicken is deeply browned, 40 to 45 minutes.

    Serve with the pan juices drizzled over the chicken.
