Position an oven rack in the upper third of the oven and preheat the broiler.

In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and egg whites until smooth. Whisk in the parsley, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper until evenly combined; set aside.

Warm the olive oil in a 10-inch cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Add the onion, remaining 1/4 teaspoon salt, and remaining 1/4 teaspoon black pepper; cook, stirring, until the onion softens and becomes translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in the tomatoes; cook for 1 minute. Add the cooked Swiss chard; cook and stir until heated through. Pour in the egg mixture, cover, and cook until the egg edges are set, about 5 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
