    Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

    Warm the olive oil and garlic in a small saucepan over low heat until heated through, 1 to 2 minutes, then pour into a shallow bowl.

    Mix the bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese in a separate shallow bowl.

    Using tongs, dip the chicken breasts into the olive oil–garlic mixture, then coat them evenly in the bread crumb mixture; place the coated chicken in a shallow baking dish.

    Bake in the preheated oven until the chicken is no longer pink and the juices run clear, 30 to 35 minutes; an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should register at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
