Classic Full Irish Fry-Up

    Arrange the bacon slices in a single layer in a large skillet. Fry over medium heat until they begin to brown. Fry on both sides. Remove them from the pan, but keep the grease.

    Add butter to the skillet and melt it. Crack the eggs into the pan, taking care not to break the yolks. Add the tomato slices, mushrooms, and bread to the skillet, keeping each separate. Fry gently, stirring the mushrooms and tomatoes now and then. Flip the bread to brown both sides.

    When the egg whites are set but the yolks remain runny, divide half of everything onto each of two warmed plates and serve right away.
