    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place the pita bread on a baking sheet.

    Bake the pitas in the preheated oven until lightly toasted; cut them into bite-sized pieces and keep them warm.

    Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken, onion, and garlic; cook until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear, about 10 minutes. Stir in the tomato purée; season with cumin, salt, and pepper. Keep cooking and stirring for a few more minutes.

    Place the toasted pita pieces in a serving dish. Drizzle with melted butter and spoon the chicken mixture on top. Garnish with yogurt and parsley to serve.
