    Assemble all the ingredients.

    In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the water, sugar, and lavender blossoms.

    Bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Lower the heat and simmer for 1 minute. Take off the heat and let the syrup steep for about 30 minutes.

    Strain the syrup through a mesh strainer into a sterilized glass jar to remove the blossoms; let it cool.
