Mashed Rutabaga

    Put the rutabagas in a large pot of salted water and bring it to a boil. Lower the heat to medium-low and simmer until tender. Drain and put them back in the warm pot.

    Mash the rutabagas with a potato masher. Add the milk, buttermilk, and cinnamon. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
