Traditional Mexican Atole Drink

    Add the masa, water or milk, cinnamon, and piloncillo to a blender. Blend until smooth, about 3 minutes.

    Pour the blender mixture into a saucepan and bring it to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Once it boils, reduce the heat to low and keep whisking for 5 minutes.

    Take the pan off the heat and stir in the vanilla. Pour into mugs and serve hot.
