Dessert 🍰 British Vegetarian 🥦

Orange Marmalade Cake is a warmly spiced Bundt with citrusy brightness and a tender crumb. Notes of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg mingle with bits of walnut and tangy marmalade for a fragrant slice that pairs beautifully with afternoon tea or as a cozy dessert. 1. 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.

  2. 2

Sift the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, cloves, and nutmeg together in a bowl; set aside.

  3. 3

In a large mixing bowl, stir together the eggs, melted butter, sugar, milk, and lemon juice. Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and mix until well blended. Stir in the walnuts and marmalade until combined, then pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan.

  4. 4

Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 60 minutes, until the cake springs back when lightly touched. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
