Parmesan Garlic Orzo

    Assemble all the ingredients.

    Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook the orzo in the boiling water, stirring now and then, until cooked through but slightly firm, about 11 minutes. Drain.

    Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.

    Cook and stir the garlic in the melted butter until lightly browned, about 2 minutes.

    Stir the orzo into the pan with the garlic, then mix in the Parmesan cheese, milk, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
