    Melt the peanut butter and butter together in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring often.

    Mix the confectioners' sugar and cereal in a large bowl until well combined. Pour in the peanut butter mixture and stir until well combined; the mixture will be crumbly but will hold together when pressed.

    Form the mixture into 1-inch balls; place them on parchment-lined cookie sheets. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm.

    Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over low heat.

    Place 1 peanut butter ball into the chocolate; use 2 forks to roll it in the mixture to coat. Let the excess chocolate drip back into the pot; place on a wire rack set over parchment paper. Repeat with the remaining peanut butter balls.
