    Put the almonds in a small bowl and cover them with water; let them soak for 15 to 20 minutes, then drain.

    Add the almonds, peppers, garlic, ginger, and cilantro to a food processor and blend until smooth.

    Season with salt, blend in the lemon juice, then blend in the cream.

    Transfer the mixture to a large, nonmetallic bowl.

    Place the chicken in the bowl and turn to coat.

    Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

    Preheat the grill to high heat and lightly oil the grate.

    Remove the meat from the marinade and thread it onto skewers.
