    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

    Rinse the salmon, then place it in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the salt, pepper, onion powder, and dill over the fish. Distribute the pieces of butter evenly on top of the fish.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
