Sausage-Stuffed Mushrooms

    Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.

    Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms; cook and stir until they soften, about 5 minutes. Transfer the mushrooms to a plate and let them cool.

    Heat another skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausage, onion, and garlic; cook and stir until the sausage is crumbly, evenly browned, and no longer pink, about 10 minutes. Drain and discard the excess grease. Move the sausage mixture to a large bowl; stir in the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, and parsley.

    Arrange the mushrooms, gill sides up, on the prepared baking sheet; spoon the sausage mixture into the caps.

    Bake in the preheated oven until the cheeses melt, about 30 minutes.
