Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place the ciabatta halves, cut sides facing up, on the parchment. If the top half wobbles, trim a little off the top so it sits flat.

Butter the cut sides, then lightly sprinkle with garlic salt. Spread the sloppy Joe mixture over the bread to the edges. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese, then with mozzarella cheese.
