Clam Spaghetti with Garlic Butter

    Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until slightly firm. Drain.

    Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Stir in the onion and the garlic, and cook for 5 minutes, or until the onion is translucent.

    Add the clams and stir frequently for 3 minutes, or until the clams are lightly browned.

    Stir in the parsley, olive oil, and the reserved clam juice mixed with enough water to make 2 cups of liquid.

    Increase the heat and bring to a low boil. Reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
