Strawberry Pop Tart Pie
  1. 1

Add half the strawberries to a heavy saucepan, set over medium heat, and cook until they break down and thicken, about 10 minutes. Let the berries cool slightly.

  2. 2

Add the apple to a large bowl, then add the cooked berries, the remaining frozen berries, the sugar, the tapioca flour, and the salt. Toss to combine.

  3. 3

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a pie dish.

  4. 4

Lay 1 pie crust in the prepared pie dish and crimp the edges. Pour in the berry mixture and smooth it out. Gently place the top crust over the berries, then crimp it to the bottom crust edge. Pinch to make sure there are no gaps. Cut an X in the center of the pie with a sharp knife.

  5. 5

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven; reduce the temperature to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Bake until the filling is bubbling, about 30 minutes more. Remove from the oven to cool.

  6. 6

For the glaze, whisk the confectioners' sugar and milk together in a small bowl until smooth. Brush over the cooled pie, then top with sprinkles.
