Plant-Based Oat and Flax Waffles

    Combine the water and flax seed meal in a bowl and stir.

    Process the oats in a blender until they resemble flour. Add the flax seed mixture, soy milk, all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, canola oil, baking powder, vanilla extract, agave nectar, and salt to the oats, then blend until the batter is just combined.

    Pour 1/2 cup of batter into the preheated waffle iron. Cook the waffles following the manufacturer's instructions until golden and crisp, about 5 minutes.
