Ingredients
- 8 Ounces (oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 Whole green onion, minced
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) Italian bread crumbs
- 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) lemon juice
- 1 Teaspoon (tsp) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Teaspoon (tsp) garlic powder
- 1 Pinch salt, to taste
- 1 Pinch ground black pepper, to taste
- 6 Ounces (oz) can snow crab, drained
- 4 Ounces (oz) can small shrimp, drained
- 12 Large white mushrooms, stems removed
- 1 Cup Italian bread crumbs
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- In a stand mixer bowl fitted with the paddle attachment, combine cream cheese, green onion, egg yolk, 1 tablespoon of bread crumbs, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Beat until smooth and evenly blended. Fold in the crab and shrimp.
- Stuff the mushroom caps with the cream cheese mixture. Divide and press 1 cup of bread crumbs on top to coat. Place the mushrooms on the baking sheet, stuffed-sides up.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the mushrooms are slightly softened, about 12 to 14 minutes. Turn on the broiler and broil until the tops are golden and bubbly.
