What is easyChef Pro?
Answer: easyChef Pro is a culinary app designed to optimize your kitchen experience, offering tailored recipe suggestions based on your pantry and dietary preferences.

How does the personalized pantry feature work?
Answer: Log your ingredients, and easyChef Pro suggests recipes tailored to those items, helping you make the most of what you have.

What details should I log for each pantry ingredient?
Answer: When logging a pantry ingredient, include the following details:
Ingredient Name: The specific name of the item (e.g., "Whole Wheat Flour").
Category and Subcategory: Assign the item to relevant categories for better organization (e.g., 'Grains' as category and 'Flour' as subcategory) these will set the expiration date by default.
Quantity: The amount of the ingredient available.
Unit of Measurement: The measurement unit (e.g., grams, liters, pieces).
Numerical Value: The numerical representation of the quantity (e.g., 500 grams).
Expiration Date: The date by which the item should ideally be used. This will auto populate with the selection of a subcategory but can be manually overridden.
Notes Area: A section for additional details like brand, storage instructions, or any specific notes.

Why are these pantry details important?
Answer: Logging these details helps maintain an effective pantry inventory, aids in efficient shopping and meal planning, prevents waste, and ensures proper utilization of ingredients before their expiration.

How do I add Missing recipe ingredients to my shopping list?
Answer: When you select a recipe, easyChef Pro automatically identifies ingredients you don't have in your Personalized Pantry. You can then choose to add these missing items directly to your shopping list with just a click from the recipe. Additionally, you can manually add items to your shopping list at any time, ensuring you're always prepared for your next culinary adventure.

How do I set dietary preferences or allergies?
Answer: In the upper right-hand corner of the recipes page, you'll find a filter icon leading to a section dedicated to Cuisine type, dietary preferences, and allergies. Once you set preferences, the easyChef Pro app will tailor the recipe suggestions to fit your needs.

What cuisines are available in easyChef Pro?
Answer: easyChef Pro offers a wide variety of cuisines to meet your needs. From American, Italian, Japanese, Thai, Korean, French, Mexican, Chinese, Mediterranean, Indian, Vietnamese and Caribbean. Allowing you to travel the world from your kitchen.

How is the shopping list feature organized?
Answer: Ingredients are sorted by category and subcategories, streamlining your shopping trips. As you buy, items can be checked off and are added back to your pantry in the app. This not only keeps your shopping list clean, it streamlines your panty.

Can I share recipes or lists with others?
Answer: While our app doesn't offer a direct sharing feature for recipes or lists now, we're excited to announce that this functionality is in the works and will be rolled out in an upcoming update soon! Stay tuned!

How does the app assist with diets?
Answer: Set your diet type, and recipe suggestions will fit those requirements, helping you maintain a healthy lifestyle.

What if an ingredient expires?
Answer: The app monitors expiry dates and sends 2 notifications for items nearing expiration.  The 1st notifies the user and the 2nd allows the user to add the expiring items to the shopping list with 1 click. Once the item expires, you can set the app to delete the item from your pantry. Assuring your pantry stays fresh and up to date

Is easyChef Pro free?
Answer: As of now, easyChef Pro is completely free to use. However, as we continue to introduce enhanced features and upgrades in the future, some functionalities may fall under the Pro Version plan. Stay tuned for more details!

How often are new recipes added?
Answer: We regularly update our recipe database to provide you with fresh culinary inspiration. Our goal is to have over 1 million recipes to choose from.

How secure is my data?
Answer: We prioritize your privacy. Your data is encrypted and never shared without your consent.

Can I use easyChef Pro offline?
Answer: While you need an internet connection for updates and new recipes, many features are available offline.

Do you offer meal prep or meal planning features?
Answer: Great news! Weekly Meal prep and planning functionalities are currently under development and will be rolled out in a future version of easyChef Pro, but daily meal planning is currently available. 

How do Smart Notifications work?
Answer: easyChef provides daily recipe suggestions based on your pantry and notifies you of items nearing expiration. You just set a time that you want to be notified and Easy Chef Pro will give you suggestions of what for dinner, what expiring and what to move to the shopping list.

Can I customize the app's themes or appearance?
Answer: Customization features are on our roadmap! We aim to introduce theme and appearance customization in a future release.

Can I create and share my own recipe book with other easyChef Pro users?Answer: Now, users can save recipes to their favorites. However, we're excited to share that an upcoming upgrade will introduce the feature to create your own recipe book using your own recipes and share it with other easyChef Pro users. Stay tuned for this exciting addition!
