Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1.5 Teaspoons horseradish
  • 0.25 Teaspoons dried basil
  • 0.25 Teaspoons dried thyme leaves
  • 0.25 Teaspoons dried tarragon leaves
  • 0.25 Teaspoons black pepper
  • 2 8 Ounces beef tenderloin steaks
  • 1 Pinch salt, to taste

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, stir together the Dijon mustard, horseradish, dried basil, thyme, tarragon, and black pepper.
  2. Spread the mixture evenly over the top and sides of each beef tenderloin steak.
  3. Wrap each steak individually with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly spray a small glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  5. Unwrap the steaks and sprinkle with salt to taste.
  6. Place the steaks into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Roast in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes for medium-rare, or adjust the time to your desired level of doneness.
  8. Remove from the oven, let rest for a few minutes, and serve.
