Ingredients

  • 1 Cup fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 Cup tequila
  • 0.5 Cup orange juice
  • 0.25 Cup fresh cilantro, minced
  • 2 Tablespoons green chiles, minced
  • 1.5 Tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 1 Teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 0.75 Teaspoon black pepper, ground
  • 2 1.5 Pounds (lb) pork tenderloins

Steps

  1. Whisk together lime juice, tequila, orange juice, cilantro, chiles, chili powder, honey, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Pour the marinade into a 1-gallon resealable bag and add the pork tenderloins. Coat the pork with the marinade, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours.
  3. Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  4. Remove the tenderloins from the marinade and shake off excess. Discard the remaining marinade.
  5. Grill the tenderloins, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), approximately 20 minutes.
  6. Let the tenderloins rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy your zesty creation!
