  • 12 Ounces (oz) cream cheese, room temperature
  • 7 Fluid Ounces (fl oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 0.25 Cups fresh durian, pureed
  • 2 Whole eggs
  • 0.5 Cups sour cream
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) vanilla extract
  • 1 Tablespoon (tbsp) durian extract
  • 1 Whole (9-inch) prepared graham cracker crust

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (170 degrees C).
  2. If using fresh durian, cut into the husk and remove one segment of the pulpy inner flesh. Place in a bowl and mash with a fork to make 0.25 cups of purée.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk, continuing to beat until smooth.
  4. Incorporate the pureed durian, eggs, sour cream, vanilla extract, and durian extract into the cream cheese mixture. Mix until well combined.
  5. Pour the cheesecake batter into the prepared graham cracker crust, spreading evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the filling is set and the edges are lightly browned.
