  • 0.25 Cups unsalted butter
  • 4 - 8 Ounces (oz) russet potatoes, sliced
  • 1 Clove garlic, minced
  • 0.25 Teaspoon (tsp) paprika
  • 1 Pinch salt, to taste
  • 1 Pinch ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 Teaspoons (tsp) fresh chives, minced

Steps

  1. Melt the unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced russet potatoes in an even layer. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Season the potatoes with minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir to coat the potatoes evenly. Cover and cook for an additional 15 minutes, turning the potatoes occasionally.
  3. Stir in the minced fresh chives. Increase the heat to medium-high and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 10 more minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking. Serve hot.
