  • 1.5 Pounds (lb) green beans, drained
  • 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) olive oil
  • 1.5 Teaspoons (tsp) lemon, zested
  • 0.33 Cups hazelnuts, grated
  • 1 Pinch salt, to taste
  • 1 Pinch pepper, to taste

Steps

  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the green beans for 3 to 8 minutes, or until tender. Drain and place them in a large bowl.
  2. Add the olive oil, lemon zest, and chopped toasted hazelnuts to the bowl with the green beans. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Toss the ingredients together until the green beans are well coated.
