  • 2 Whole pork chops
  • 1 Ounce (oz) package dry onion soup mix, packaged
  • 6 Ounces (oz) package uncooked wild rice, packaged
  • 3 Cups water

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the pork chops on both sides.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine the dry onion soup mix and uncooked wild rice. Mix well.
  4. Spread the rice mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  5. Place the browned pork chops on top of the rice mixture.
  6. Gently pour the water over the pork chops and rice, ensuring even distribution.
  7. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
