- 10 Ounces (oz) tortillas, packaged
- 3 Tomatoes, seeded and diced
- 1 Small cabbage, shredded
- 1 Bunch cilantro, torn
- 2 Limes, sliced
Steps
- Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, honey, seafood seasoning, hot pepper sauce, cumin, chili powder, and black pepper.
- Marinate the Fish: Place tilapia chunks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours.
- Make the Dressing: In a separate bowl, combine sour cream and adobo sauce. Stir in lime juice, lime zest, seafood seasoning, cumin, and chili powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and refrigerate until needed.
- Preheat the Grill: Set an outdoor grill to high heat and lightly oil the grate. Position the grate 4 inches from the heat source.
- Grill the Fish: Remove the fish from the marinade, drain excess liquid, and discard the marinade. Grill the fish pieces, turning once, until they flake easily with a fork, about 9 minutes.
- Assemble the Tacos: Place grilled fish pieces in the center of each tortilla. Add desired amounts of diced tomatoes, shredded cabbage, and torn cilantro. Drizzle with the prepared dressing.
- Serve: Roll up the tortillas around the fillings and garnish with lime slices. Enjoy your Zesty Chipotle-Lime Grilled Fish Tacos!
