  • 2.25 Teaspoons (tsp) salt, to taste (use 1 pinch for "to taste")
  • 1 Pinch salt, to taste
  • 0.25 Teaspoon (tsp) ground black pepper, ground
  • 0.25 Teaspoon (tsp) ground cloves, ground

Steps

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Place the shredded red cabbage, sliced apples, sugar, and butter into a large pot.
  3. Pour in the apple cider vinegar and water, then add salt, pepper, and ground cloves.
