  • 2 Pounds (lb) fresh bratwurst sausages
  • 6 12 Fluid Ounces (fl oz) cans beer
  • 2 Whole onions, sliced
  • 1 Cup butter, melted
  • 1.5 Teaspoons (tsp) black pepper, ground
  • 10 Whole hoagie rolls

Steps

  1. Prick the bratwurst sausages with a fork to prevent them from bursting during cooking.
  2. In a large stockpot, combine the bratwursts, beer, sliced onions, butter, and black pepper.
