Ingredients

  • 2 15 Ounces (oz) cans garbanzo beans, drained
  • 0.5 Cups roasted tahini
  • 0.25 Cups lemon juice
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) lemon zest, zested
  • 2 Whole garlic cloves, minced
  • 0.25 Cups flat leaf parsley, torn
  • 0.25 Cups green onions, minced
  • 1 Pinch salt, to taste
  • 1 Pinch black pepper, ground

Steps

  1. Place the drained garbanzo beans, roasted tahini, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic cloves, torn flat leaf parsley, and minced green onions into the bowl of a food processor.
  2. Blend the mixture until smooth. If the hummus is too thick, gradually add water until the desired consistency is reached.
  3. Season the hummus to taste with salt and ground black pepper.
