  • 2 16 Ounces (oz) packages dry corn bread mix, packaged
  • 1 Medium onion, minced
  • 1 Clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Bunch celery, minced
  • 6 Whole hard-cooked eggs, minced
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) rubbed sage
  • 2 14 Ounces (oz) cans chicken broth
  • 2 Cups turkey stock
  • 1 Pinch salt, to taste
  • 1 Pinch pepper, to taste

Steps

  1. Prepare the cornbread according to the package directions. Allow it to cool, then crumble it into a large bowl. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In the large bowl with the crumbled cornbread, add the minced onion, minced garlic, minced celery, and minced eggs. Gently stir to combine. Season with salt, pepper, and sage.
  3. Gradually add the chicken broth and turkey stock, one cup at a time, mixing until the cornbread mixture is moist but not overly wet.
  4. Transfer the stuffing into a Dutch oven or loosely pack it into a turkey. Bake for 1 hour or until the stuffing reaches an internal temperature of 175 degrees F (80 degrees C).
  5. Serve warm as a delicious side dish to complement your holiday meal. Enjoy!
