Ingredients

  • 0.5 Cups melted butter
  • 1 Whole egg
  • 0.33 Cups brown sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) vanilla extract
  • 1 Cup flour, sifted
  • 0.25 Teaspoon (tsp) baking powder
  • 0.25 Teaspoon (tsp) baking soda
  • 0.25 Teaspoon (tsp) salt
  • 1 Teaspoon (tsp) cinnamon
  • 0.25 Teaspoon (tsp) nutmeg, ground
  • 0.25 Teaspoon (tsp) pumpkin pie spice
  • 0.75 Cups dried cranberries
  • 0.75 Cups pecans, chopped
  • 0.75 Cups old-fashioned rolled oats

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 11x7-inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, pour the melted butter. Beat in the egg, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin pie spice.
  4. Stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture until thoroughly blended.
  5. Mix in the dried cranberries, pecans, and oats until evenly combined.
  6. Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 13 to 15 minutes, or until the top is dry and the edges slightly pull away from the sides of the pan.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
