- 0.25 Cups butter
- 1 Pound venison, ground
- 1 Pound beef stew meat, cubed
- 1 Pound pork stew meat, cubed
- 1 Large onion, minced
- 1 Fresh jalapeno pepper, minced
- 3 Tablespoons chili powder
- 0.5 Teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 1.5 Teaspoons cumin, ground
- 2 14 Ounces cans stewed tomatoes, drained
- 1 15 Ounces can tomato sauce
- 6 Cloves garlic, minced
- 4 Cubes beef bouillon, crumbled
- 0.25 Cups Kentucky bourbon
- 2 12 Fluid Ounces cans pilsner-style beer
- 2 Cups water
Steps
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the ground venison, cubed beef stew meat, and cubed pork stew meat. Cook until completely browned.
- Add the minced onion and minced jalapeño to the pot. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the chili powder, cayenne pepper, and ground cumin.
- Add the drained stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, minced garlic, and crumbled beef bouillon to the pot. Stir well.
- Pour in the Kentucky bourbon, pilsner-style beer, and water. Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Bring the chili to a boil, then cover the pot and reduce the heat to medium-low. Simmer for about 1 hour, stirring frequently.
