- 3 Pounds (lb) red potatoes, quartered
- 1 Whole head cabbage, shredded
- 2 Tablespoons (tbsp) butter, melted
- 0.5 Cups butter, melted
- 1 Teaspoon (tsp) garlic, minced
- 4 Whole green onions, sliced
- 1 Pinch white pepper, to taste
- 1.25 Cups hot milk
- 1 Pound (lb) corned beef, warmed
Steps
- Place the quartered red potatoes into a large saucepan and add water to cover by 1 inch. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until tender, about 20 minutes.

- Melt 0.5 cups of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the minced garlic and the white parts of the green onions. Cook until the garlic has softened and mellowed, about 2 minutes.
