  • 1 Pound (lb) pork sausage
  • 3 26 Ounces (oz) jars spaghetti sauce
  • 2 16 Ounces (oz) containers ricotta cheese
  • 2 8 Ounces (oz) packages Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 8 Ounces (oz) packages mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 8 Ounces (oz) package spinach, minced

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook the lasagna noodles until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain and lay them flat on a paper towel to prevent sticking.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the pork sausage until browned and crumbly, about 7 to 10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a large bowl, combine 2 jars of spaghetti sauce with the ricotta cheese. In a separate medium bowl, mix the grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella cheeses.
  5. Add the cooked sausage and minced spinach to the ricotta mixture. Stir in all but 1 cup of the Parmesan-mozzarella mixture until well combined.
  6. Spread a thin layer of the remaining spaghetti sauce from the third jar on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  7. Layer 3 to 4 lasagna noodles lengthwise over the sauce. Add a generous layer of the sausage-ricotta mixture. Repeat the layering process twice more.
  8. Finish with a final layer of noodles, pour over the remaining spaghetti sauce, and sprinkle with the reserved 1 cup of the cheese mixture.
  9. Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
