  • 1 - 8 Ounces (oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1.5 - Cups milk
  • 1 - Cup mayonnaise
  • 1 - Tablespoon (tbsp) prepared horseradish
  • 1 - 6 Ounces (oz) can crab meat, drained
  • 0.125 - Teaspoon (tsp) Old Bay Seasoning, seasoned
  • 1 - 1 Pound (lb) loaf French bread
  • 1 - Cup white Cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, milk, mayonnaise, horseradish, drained crab meat, and Old Bay Seasoning. Mix until the mixture is creamy.
  3. Spread the creamy mixture into an 8x12 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake the mixture in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
  5. While the dip is baking, cut a circle out of the top of the French bread loaf and scoop out the inside. Tear the removed bread into pieces for dipping.
  6. Once the dip is baked, remove it from the oven and spoon it into the hollowed-out bread bowl.
  7. Cover the top of the dip with shredded white Cheddar cheese and sprinkle with additional Old Bay Seasoning if desired.
  8. Place the bread bowl on a medium baking sheet and bake in the oven for an additional 45 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
